Help! My Shampoo Bar Fell Apart!

My Shampoo bar has crumbled!

Sometimes when your shampoo or conditioner bar gets small, it falls apart. You don’t want to waste, so what do you do?

This is not so different from when a shampoo bottle is mostly empty. That’s when you turn it upside down, and then add extra water and shake the bottle to get the last bit out. There’s a little bit of added effort in getting the last of the product out. It’s just a different process with a bar.

You can actually re-form your bars if they crumble or break. If the bar has been in the shower, it is probably soft enough that you can squish it. Gather the pieces, and gently squeeze them together. Keep gently squeezing until the pieces are all stuck together. Then roll it around to smooth it out. Now let it dry for a while, out of the shower preferably. And voila! you have a new little bar.

Another way to use up all the pieces if your bar breaks apart is to put the pieces in one of our mesh bags. You probably don’t want to mix the shampoo and conditioner pieces, so just put one or the other in. You might need two bags, one for each product. Then wet the bag with the pieces inside and use them right through the bag. Be sure to let the bag dry between uses.
